The Best Movies Where Leonardo DiCaprio Starred

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio – the actor who made me fall in love with Christopher Nolan’s direction.
He is arguably the best actor to grace the big screen. From Inception to Killers of the Flower Moon, he has absolutely nailed every role he was given. With a big fat list of his movies, where do you even start watching his mastery in acting? That part has been done by me. Now that is subjective, but the list of Leo’s movies in this article are best, according to me and my colleagues.
So, without much ado, let us hop right into it.
A Prerequisite Before You Watch
Before we dive right into the movies, there is something you should take care of to enhance your movie night experience.
These movies deserve to be watched in the highest quality possible without compromising on the experience. So, make sure to connect to a high-speed internet like Optimum. It has been my choice of internet provider because of its reliable bilingual Optimum servicio al cliente en español and high-speed internet plans that don’t cost an arm and a leg.
All set with the prerequisite? Let us head to the movies.
The Great Gatsby
F. Scott Fitzgerald did a great job portraying the character Jay Gatsby in the novel, The Great Gatsby. But that was through words. Baz Luhrmann took the character and turned it into a movie, and Leonardo DiCaprio made it a banger. It’s the best take on the character, and since it was merely in words, it must have been difficult for Leo to capture the nuance of the character, but he certainly made it look easy.
I am a big fan of intense scenes, and if you have already watched the movie, you might know where I am heading right now – A fit of rage. The scene that made the movie go viral on reels is certainly the one to watch in that movie.
A little on the character: Jay Gatsby is a millionaire who is searching for lost love. He is known for his luxury parties and the American Dream. The character from the 1920s deserved to be filmed, and this was worth it.

The Revenant
It is one of my favorites from Leo and certainly the one I can rewatch any day, any time.
The movie is about how the American frontiersmen have to trespass the most difficult terrain in order to deliver the much-needed resources that they are bringing from a different corner of the land.
This is one of his best characters that, for sure, shuts down the voices that said he cannot play the physically intensive roles. Partnered with Tom Hardy, Leo did the best and deserved the long-overdue Academy Award for this role.
The character in the movie first survives the difficult terrain, then a bear attack, and last but not least, a betrayal by a member of the group.
If you want to watch the extreme ruggedness and the peak of the acting, this is the movie that you should watch.
Shutter Island
If you love to watch brain-wrecking emotional rides in movies, Shutter Island is the one to watch.
Teddy is a US. Marshal, who is on a hunt to find his long-lost friend on an Island. Does he find him? No, he doesn’t because that was all a lie. Actually, Edward “Teddy” Daniels is a patient on that island himself who suffers from bipolar disorder. He has multiple characters, and one of them is the US. Marshall.
How does Teddy end up being a patient? I shouldn’t tell you because that is the whole point of the movie.
Anyhow, the nuance and misery of the character have been beautifully captured by none other than Leonardo DiCaprio, and it is certainly the one to watch!
The Wolf of Wall Street
I think The Wolf of Wall Street is the best movie in which Leonardo DiCaprio starred.
I was looking at one of the behind-the-scenes and the way he switches to the character before the ‘action’ calls was simply amazing.
Leo plays Jordan Belfort in the movie, and that character is just amazing in itself. Now, top it off with DiCaprio’s amazing acting, and the character becomes energetic and just like a wolf on Wall Street.
The film is a comedic tragedy of Jordan Belfort, who ends up being jailed for the unintentional crimes committed over the phone.
Not just is this a master piece of Leonardo DiCaprio, but it is one of the best movies of the great director Martin Scorsese. In my opinion, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are a match made in heaven. I love everything they have produced for the big screen.
So, there you have it – a watchlist of Leonardo DiCaprio’s best performances handpicked by his biggest fans, a.k.a. me. So, hop on your comfortable sofa, grab some Doritos, and cherish the best of work by Leonardo DiCaprio.
